We’re experiencing uncertainty during these difficult times, but remember – we’re all in this together!
The last few weeks have no doubt been some of the toughest our business and industry has faced.
During these unprecedented times, we’ve had to rapidly adapt and change the approach to our work.
But, we want to assure you that we are still working – and looking forward to the day that this current situation is finally behind us!
This shall pass, and once we reach the light at the end of the tunnel life will go on.
As such, we are still working with clients and planning their events (remotely, of course) for later on in the year or during the first half of 2021.
For now, we would like to thank you for your support, and share how we are still working to help you plan your upcoming event.
We’ll be ready to go when you are
We expect a high demand for event planners and venues once this passes, as events that have been postponed are now clashing with events whose dates have already been chosen.
We can start planning from now!
From our home office or living room couch, we are already working with clients to plan their table styling for upcoming events.
We usually start working with clients six months to one year in advance anyway, so albeit the crazy scenario we find ourselves in, we’re actually right on track to start planning for events up until mid-2021!
You ought to lock in a venue
As mentioned above, we expect that when this is all over, events that have been postponed will start competing with upcoming events, as dates start to quickly fill up!
Let us help you find and lock in a venue NOW for your celebration.
We’re still working!
Despite the circumstances, we’re still offering linen hire and available via phone or email to assist you in any way we can.
Do you need to postpone an event? We can help you liaise with your venue.
In the early planning stage?
We can still create table setting mock-ups – we’ll send you high quality photos so you can get a taste for our skills!
We can even send you fabric swatches in the mail – just give us a call and let us know what kind of event you’re planning, and any creative ideas you’d like brought to life.
Need to postpone a ticketed event?
Here are some tips we hope will help you make this tough decision.
- Ensure your guests are informed of the new event date and your refund policy, as well as how they can get in touch with support
- Make sure you get in touch with all of your suppliers and service providers
- Contact any presenters, speakers, or performers who were scheduled to support your event
- Share the information privately with guests (e.g. via email or telephone) as well as via social media channels
- Provide frequent updates whenever possible
- Think of ways you can reward attendees to thank them for committing to the (future) event
And on a personal note, from us to you…
If you’ve had to postpone an event or wedding, we’re thinking of you during this time.
We feel for you and know you’ve had to make a really tough decision, but we thank you for prioritising the safety of your friends, family, and colleagues.
Please continue to support small businesses in any way you can. We’re all in this together.
Life will go on and while it might take some time to get right back on track, we hope we’ll all come out of this stronger than ever.
As we start the transition back into ‘normal life’, we hope that we will be a part of your upcoming corporate event or private event, or wedding.
To our partners and those in the industry…
Our community is a strong-knit one filled with ambitious, strong, and creative people. We hope you’re able to stay as positive as possible, adjusting to this temporary new way of life.
Through it all, we’re in it together. We’re here to offer you support during this confusing and frankly crazy time.
Questions? Please get in touch with us
We want to encourage clients to postpone rather than cancel their events. While there is no end date in sight just quite yet, we know that it will come!
